Making it happen

We offer a variety of website construction packages all aimed to suit your online marketing requirements and your pocketbook.

We're often asked 'how much does it cost to build a website?'  Well, that's a bit like asking a car salesman how much is a car.

The fact is, until they know exactly what you want, no web designer can tell you.

We can say that basic sites from us will cost around  $400 NZD to $900 but more technically advanced sites range upward from $1200.

But don't let thoughts of cost scare you off going on the web. You may be very pleasantly surprised at how cheap it is. We can't tell untill we talk to you and have a chance to review your requirements.

Getting started ... a basic guide

1

If you don't already own one, the first essential step is to get a domain name. Any domain name registrar can help you with this, we suggest www.domains4less.co.nz

2

Plan what you want. Take some A4 paper and plan your site. Look up your competitors to get an idea of the pages you may want in your own site.

3

Contact us to discuss your plan. We will go over what you would like and take lots of notes. We then prepare a Web Brief which will name a fixed price for the work listed.

4

Construction begins and once complete you will still be able to make basic changes before the final site goes live for all the world to see.

How pricing is determined

Costing is quoted on time and a unit charge rate of between $18 and $50 per hour, depending on the type of work involved. Most web work will cost less from us because we are home based and sometimes outsource to experienced contract developers when required.
